What is Flying Whales

Where did we start

Flying Whales initiated as a mean to keep myself occupied; midst of a financial and mental breakdown, I needed something to keep my sanity checked, and make some money in the process. What attracted me about marketing is its dire need to stay creative — You have to come up new, yet effective ideas to put out your products. They need to bind viewers, stay innovative and relevant and do not diverge in the process.

Marketing has evolved in the last few years; Stead of its creative roots, it has developed its reliance on its technical weightage.

A lot of elements like SEO are about maintaining technical aspects — one having more importance than other.

As internet is taking its toll, several elements (not just marketing), are taking its turn to diversify.

There are several new elements that are needed to be taken into consideration before you set out to market your product.

A whole new world

When we started, we were introduced with heavy load of technical terms. What we didn’t see is the lack of means that would appeal to our customers in a more visceral tone.

The limited time slot did challenge us but who doesn’t like challenges?

The techniques and experts out there lacked a creative output — they didn’t involve a story.

Few big brands manage but they had the budget!

We saw more challenges and dedicated more time in understanding the layouts rather than focusing on our products — As I said, internet changed a lot of things.

Now, we can personalize the ads.

But question remains — where is the story?

Can we succeed?

Success is a diplomatic term.

Someone might claim it requires you to be a millionaire to be happy and successful, while some might raise a happy family is.

The opinions differ but each carry a weight.

Maybe the right act would be to go with the flow — introduce/market your product in a more internet friendly tone. It surely would create few hindrances but the interactive nature of internet would surely help your viewers to understand the product much more profoundly.

There are new dimensions to discover, new territories to conquer.

As we are confined in our shell, we are discovering new ways to excel in the game.
